Lauren Daigle Delivers Beautiful New Music Video for ‘You Say’: Exclusive Premiere

Christian singer-songwriter Lauren Daigle has no trouble capturing the power of faith with her strong, jazzy vocals.

Her latest single, “You Say,” released Monday, and its accompanying video – premiering exclusively on Billboard below – do just that.

The gorgeous vignette shows Daigle in soft, golden-hour lighting as she belts about being accepted by God.

“You say I am helped when I am falling short/ And when I don’t belong, Lord you say I am yours/ And I believe, yes I believe what you say of me,” she sings.

“I knew this would be a song of my identity,” Daigle told Billboard’s Nashville-based country, Christian and gospel chart manager Jim Asker for a recent podcast interview.

Daigle’s second full-length studio album, Look Up Child, is due Sept. 7.

Legend Reba McEntire and Christian singer Lauren Daigle gave a powerful performance of McEntire’s song “Back To God” at the 2017 ACM Awards.

As the two women stood on stage, augmented by nothing but a backing band, the song’s religious lyrics took a front seat and had the audience mesmerized.

Lauren Daigle’s ‘Behold’ Dashes Back to No. 1 on Top Christian Albums

Singer-songwriter Lauren Daigle returns to No. 1 for a third frame on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, as her 2016 holiday set Behold: A Christmas Collection lifts 2-1, earning 12,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 30, up 82 percent, according to Nielsen Music, nearly all from traditional album sales.

The sales burst for Behold is helped by its $5 sale-price at Lifeway Christian bookstores beginning on Black Friday.

Behold is Daigle’s second full-length and second Top Christian Albums leader.

Behold accentuates the 26-year-old Louisiana-born Daigle’s jazz roots.

“I always wanted to do a jazz album,” Daigle told Billboard in 2016.

“O Holy Night,” now a single from Behold being promoted to Christian radio, debuts at No. 42 on Hot Christian Songs.

Also ascending to the Christian Airplay upper tier is Big Daddy Weave’s “Jesus I Believe”.
